Hello I'm Crystal

Entrepreneurship is written in My DNA.

I come from generations of innovative, determined, extremely hard-working, and resilient entrepreneurs. People who built out of necessity, people who thrived out of desire, and people who survived against tremendous obstacles. Growing up working in the family businesses, I learned first-hand the value of relationship-building, client-focus, and creative problem-solving. My most impactful mentor

was my father. From him, I learned how to give 110% to whatever I do, with the understanding that although the work that happens behind the scenes may

not be seen, the impact of good work will be felt.

my theorem is

Operations are the foundation.

When I redirected my collective expertise into my own (first) business, I began to notice a pattern: operations were the foundation of everything, and strong operations were instrumental for successful outcomes.

Moreover, operations are like the engine that powers a vehicle. You can’t see the engine, but it is absolutely critical to the function of a vehicle. As nice-looking as a vehicle may be on the outside, without the engine, it can’t go anywhere. Likewise, without structured operations a business can’t function properly. Operations encapsulate the people, processes, procedures, systems, workflows, and resources that make up a business and power its existence.

When I started my (second) business, I poured this same operations-centered, analytical perspective into working closely with other founders growing remote-first companies before it very common.

What i believe

Four core values I don't negotiate on.

1

Determination

Keep goals in focus, work hard, and get things done. Making learning a life-long endeavor. Don't stop growing.

2

Flexibility

Be flexible with yourself and others. Life can change suddenly, so be OK with making adjustments.

3

Honesty

Tell the truth to yourself and to others. Don't be afraid of difficult conversations.

4

Innovation

Think differently than the majority. If you can't find what you're looking for, create it yourself.

5

Kindness

Be kind to yourself and all other humans. Don't expect what people aren't capable of providing. Accept people's limitations, and highlight their individual strengths.

6

Respect

Show respect to everyone, even if they look, sound or think differently than you.

2010

Started My First Business

Went independent and started a commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance company that serviced businesses, well-known retail brands, and government agencies before "boring businesses" were a thing.

2012

Started My Second Business

Founded a company to provide remote business operations management and consulting to innovative startups and professional service firms who were going digital before Zoom and Slack were founded.

2023

Embarked Down the Path to Law School

Headed on the journey to launch a second career to attain my goal of becoming an attorney and expand access to justice for underserved groups.

2024

Couldn't Leave the Systems

Realized I love the operational aspect of business too much and leaned into expanding access to justice by improving operational systems from the inside.

2025

Transitioned from Consulting to Advising

Shifted from traditional short-term consulting to long-term operational advisory so CEOs could execute strategy with ongoing executive partnership.

A short history

Fifteen years, in five moments.

tldr

Business-Minded. Operations-Focused.

I'm a strategic partner to CEOs of boutique professional service firms that need someone on the executive team to balance their strengths by leading the alignment and maintenance of the backend operations of the business. My operational solutions are built around simplicity, clarity, and systems that honor a visionary CEO's inherent desire for intentional growth.

Crystal

I believe strategically designed operations are the foundation for a sustainable business. I work alongside founders to align their vision with the systems, processes, policies, people, and technology required to scale businesses with intention.

My education includes a Master of Science in Business with emphasis on entrepreneurship, a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with emphasis on both management and project management, and several certificates in business and project management. However, it is my elbow-deep, real-life experience in business that has given me the most valuable training.
